We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead and enhance our recruitment efforts in Vietnam. This role is essential in providing strategic talent acquisition guidance to hiring managers and HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting top-tier talent to help Manulife maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving employment market.
This position is based in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers, HR, and business leaders, developing a differentiated recruitment strategy aligned with business goals across Vietnam.
Lead and manage a team , fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Coach and develop team members to enhance their recruitment capabilities, ensuring successful recruitment outcomes and an excellent candidate experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with business needs.
Champion diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process, ensuring diverse candidate slates through targeted campaigns.
Leverage labor market data to inform recruitment strategies, challenge hiring assumptions, and expand the talent pool.
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for over 100 requisitions annually, ensuring a seamless process and adherence to DE&I principles.
Partner with external agencies as needed to supplement talent acquisition efforts.
Utilize data and metrics to drive recruitment decisions and predict talent trends.
Collaborate with Employer Branding to enhance our market presence and attract top talent.
Optimize recruitment processes to eliminate inefficiencies and ensure compliance with company regulations.
What we are looking for
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in recruitment within a multinational organization.
At least 5+ years of experience leading a recruitment team, with experience reporting to a remote manager and working with a regional team.
Strong business advisory and consultative skills with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior business leaders and HR partners.
Expertise in leveraging local market activation channels, including social media, for talent targeting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to influence decision-making; Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, with exposure to PowerBi being desirable.
Exceptional detail orientation and excellent English verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Ability to craft a compelling narrative and communicate effectively with managers.
Demonstrated ability to navigate a complex, dynamic regional and global business environment with shifting priorities.
