The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
The official job title: Channel Operations Centre Senior Officer (Outsourcing)
Check and authorize bank account opening. Ensure accounts are opened in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements in terms of turn-around time, documentation, and data collection.
Check and authorize account maintenance, including demographic change, account status change, and others.
Check and authorize electronic image indexing as required.
Perform level 1 checker for Name screening. Ensure the HITs are disposed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Check and authorize payment entries.
Participate in projects to ensure required test case review, test result validation, and sign-off are provided in line with project timeline.
Note: the outsourcing labor contract will be signed-on with the UOB’s third party vendor with 9–10 months contract term
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
At least 3 years relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Good at written English and spoken English
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Proven organization and time management skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
