About the job
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Product Manager to join our Search Experience & Search Conversion team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search technologies, user experience, and conversion optimization strategies. They will be responsible for driving improvements in the search experience and driving conversion rates on our platform.
This role will be working on batdongsan.com.vn which is the largest & most trusted property portal in Vietnam and a key priority for PropertyGuru. Given how fragmented the Vietnamese property market is, we believe there is a massive opportunity to make a difference by improving the quality and experience of the biggest transaction in most people's life. At PropertyGuru, you will be working in English speaking environment and working with some of the best talents in VN & regionally (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & India)
Responsibilities:
Analyse search data: Review click-through rates, conversions and user engagement metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and new opportunities for optimizing the search experience.
A/B testing and experimentation: Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and determine the most effective search optimization strategies.
Monitor and track performance metrics: Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of search optimization initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
Conduct user research: Perform user interviews, surveys, and usability tests with help of User researchers to understand user needs and preferences, and incorporate these insights into product development.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, marketing and other product teams to ensure that search optimization initiatives are aligned with broader company goals and objectives.
Prioritize features: Maintain and update the product backlog, prioritizing features and improvements based on user feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Plan and manage sprints: Work closely with engineering, design & data teams to plan, manage, and track progress during sprints, ensuring that search optimization initiatives are delivered on time
Documentation and knowledge sharing: Maintain and update product documentation, and share learnings and best practices with the broader team.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
5+ years of product management experience. Background in online marketplaces, e-commerce, or consumer-facing technology products is preferred.
Experience designing and implementing search algorithms, personalization, and UX/UI improvements that drive user engagement and conversion is preferred.
Scientific mindset - strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back-up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated experience mentoring high-performing product teams.
Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
