This role is to support the Actuarial Manager/Head - CAS in Group Internal Economic Capital (“GIECA”) reporting, Capital management & Asset-Liability management activities, Asset-Liability Committee (“ALCO”) meeting, Group-wide sensitivities exercise.

Scope:

Scope 1: Group Internal Economic Capital reporting (GIECA)

  • Perform reporting process to produce GIECA Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss, Available Economic Capital (AEC) and Economic Capital Requirement (ECR), following the Group requirements.
  • Collaborate with Group team in supporting them with their lite model runs and 1-in-200 stress test.
  • Conduct business plan for GIECA NB AEC and other GIECA ad-hoc tasks/ requests.

Scope 2: Asset-Liability and Capital Management

  • Conduct analyses on asset-liability duration gap on a quarterly basis and conduct Group Approval Limit report based on Group requirements.
  • Review Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) for various funds.

Scope 3: Asset-Liability Committee (“ALCO”) Meeting Support

  • Support Head of CAS to coordinate ALCO members and consolidate ALCO materials.
  • Prepare ALCO meeting minutes.

Scope 4: Group-Wide Sensitivities Exercise

  • Conduct sensitivities exercise for Local Solvency and European Economic Value/ Traditional Economic Value.
  • Prepare sensitivities report and align with Risk team.

Requirements:

Qualification:

  • A good university degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics
  • Advantage: Passed some actuarial exams.

Experiences:

     Mandatory:

  • At least 3 years of relevant actuarial experience and international reporting standards.
  • At least 3 actuarial exams passed.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Prior experience with Prophet or other actuarial modelling software such as DCS, SQL, Python, VBA …).

Knowledge and skill set:

  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Access and database packages

Advantage:

  • Deeply understand about actuarial cashflows, product modelling, product pricing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fundamental actuarial concepts
  • Knowledge of basic actuarial techniques and terminology
