Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the on-site management of the manufacturing operation quality at the display manufacturer supplier.
It involves the quality control and manufacturing operation management throughout the entire process from the product design stage to production and delivery.
By formulating and implementing quality strategies, operation strategies, monitoring the production process, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role is committed to preventing and solving quality problems, improving product quality and production efficiency, and ensuring that products meeting the specification and on time delivery.
Responsibilities:
Develops an understanding of the organization's inspection methods, quality guidelines, best practices, risk management practices etc.
Evaluates the effectiveness of the supplier's quality management system to ensure that it strictly complies with international and industry authoritative standards such as ISO 9001.
Conducts regular factory on-site audits and sample inspections to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards and identify any deviations.
Manages key performance indicators (KPIs). Closely monitor KPIs in the production process, such as yield rate, outgoing reject rate, incoming reject rate, etc.
Use data analysis methods to capture quality trends and potential problems, and request suppliers to take precise measures in a timely manner to ensure the stability of product quality.
Collaborates with suppliers to handle user quality complaints and field quality improvement, formulate practical solutions and corrective actions to enhance user satisfaction.
Generates and maintains inspection reports and quality analysis reports, regularly report the product quality status, the operation of the quality system, and the achievements of quality improvement to the management, and provide detailed data and quality information support for the management's decision-making.
Implements product change management and confirm the implementation of changes on-site.
Promotes the automation of suppliers and the improvement of efficiency to enhance product competitiveness and save costs.
Develops an understanding and build relationships with internal and suppliers for product development and manufacturing; provide guidance for priority projects while maintaining these relationships.
Qualifications:
Four-year Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 2 years above work experience, preferably in Display, Notebook or Desktop quality assurance, reliability, engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English, Chinese and Thai communication is preferable.
Equipped with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, take decisive actions in the face of quality risks and emergencies to ensure product quality and production schedules.
Communicate and collaborate efficiently with suppliers and internal teams. One can clearly express opinion and coordinate resources from all parties to resolve operation and quality issues.
