Job Description: 

As a GPU Validation Engineer in the semiconductor industry, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of GPUs. Your work will focus on validating GPU performance and proper functionality across various scenarios, collaborating closely with design engineers from the early stages of development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Spearhead GPU functional validation, focusing on post-silicon Boot, Reset, and Power Management tests.
  • Leverage tools to ensure complete validation coverage and meet performance, power, and area targets.
  • Evaluate design changes' impact on validation plans, tasks, and timelines.
  • Develop and apply GPU validation methodologies, collaborating with engineers for design enhancements, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Conduct silicon debugging to identify and rectify GPU functional and triage failures.
  • Test GPU feature interactions through validation infrastructure.
  • Build post-silicon validation infrastructure, integrating performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and state space coverage tools.
  • Publish GPU validation reports detailing activities, outcomes, and communicate to concerned teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to refine and elevate debug, validation test strategy, and methodologies for graphics interfaces, aligning with product specifications.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM degree plus 8+ years of industry experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM degree plus 6+ years of industry experience.
  • The years of experience mentioned above must include: post-silicon validation focusing on boot/reset/PM functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving post-silicon validation as technical lead
  • Experience in GPU post-silicon validation
  • Experience in validation of interactions between HW and FW

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$186,070.00-$262,680.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
