Job SummaryThe Complex Commodity Supervisor supports the IT Software agreements by overseeing and executing the management of software contracts, licenses, and agreements. He/She partners with internal stakeholders to ensure the IT software agreements align with legal, regulatory, and business requirements while maximizing value and minimizing risks. He/She coordinates and reviews competitive bid quotations, evaluates pricing for inclusion in cost proposals, and contacts suppliers and stakeholders to negotiate. He/She analyzes the Total Cost of Ownership to determine the most desirable and best method of purchase. This position works with cross-functional teams, pre-bid and contract follow-up meetings, and interviews as necessary to evaluate supplier products, services, and capabilities. He/She develops the capability to effectively monitor contract timelines, focus on tracking key dates like contract expiry dates, renewal dates, milestones, and obligations, ensuring timely actions and preventing missed deadlines or compliance issues will occur, with minimal supervision.
