Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to ensure optimal performance of equipment. This individual is also responsible for helping oversee the reliability of the operation. BaSE Specialists work cross-functionally with operations and other support functions to optimize facility reliability and coordinate repairs. The role requires prioritizing and expediting sort calls and breakdowns as well as providing guidance to maintenance mechanics for effective repairs. Additionally, specialists assist in maintaining the conveyors and physical facility, ensuring compliance, reliability, and performance through regular inspections and audits.

  • Job Level: Specialist

  • Internal Salary Grade: 10E

  • Work Schedule: Varies according to business needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to internal customer inquiries and facility alarms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues as they arise.

  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate with maintenance mechanics to address breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.

  • Develop and communicate technical training and documentation for known issues.

  • Identify and investigate root-cause analysis for facility issues and take appropriate steps to resolve them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering (preferred).

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

  • Ability to write professional and technical communication.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in programming, troubleshooting, and understanding of industrial networks (preferred).

  • Experience troubleshooting, replacing, and understanding industrial controls devices (preferred).

  • Experience with motor control theory, and basic AC/DC electrical systems (preferred).
