Florida Heat Pump Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier Corporation. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry.

Job Description

The CNC Programmer Intern will work in the manufacturing components area performing the following job tasks including but not limited to:

Assuring all programs and tools are available to meet daily productions schedules.
Assuring all programming and tooling is available to meet new product development schedules.
Programming of Punch Machine, Press Brake and Tube Bending Equipment
Process Improvement and Standardization
Maintain documentation and file structure.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CAD Design or related fields.
Must possess a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Proficiency with CNC programming
Able to read blueprints.
Familiar with CD CAD modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP knowledge preferred
Experience with CNC programming software (punching, bending, cutting
Experience with PLM systems and SQL.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
