About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant as part of the Account Opening and Maintenance (AOM) Product Group within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). The primary goals of this role are to deliver world class UAT testing and solutions that best serve our clients, financial advisors, and home office team members.

The Business Execution Consultant will partner with WIM AOM Product team members to drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for technology delivered by the WIM AOM Product. They will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and artifact collection of activities required to meet UAT quality standards for WIM applications. Goals of this role include leveraging a standards-based testing model that optimizes quality, reduces risk, and improves business and IT alignment. In this role you must be a forward thinking, capable and committed UAT testing resource with a proven ability to meet deadlines, execute work and work to adhere testing standards and methodologies within a structured environment. This role requires someone who can handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to keep track of progress, defect resolution, UAT, regression, and end to end testing.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations to support both brokerage and banking business group within a line of business.

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

  • Guide the business and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Communicate and liaise with multiple stakeholders including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers to promote use of efficient testing strategies

  • Communicate test strategies, test status, and any impediments in a timely manner

  • Adhering to the documenting, implementing, monitoring, and executing of all processes for testing as per standards defined by the product and WIM

  • Manage and organize of UAT test data and artifact collection

  • Defect triaging and resolution through closure, including optimizing fix approach and retesting

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of operational experience in the investment/banking industry

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as production validation of technology systems in operations support

  • Experience updating End to End and regression test scenarios

  • Experience running manual and automation-based testing

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira

  • Ability to take initiative, identify process improvement opportunities and implement change

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
