Overview
Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program that includes revitalization of "Channel" applications for payment initiation. The platform provides Corporate and Institutional banking services to Deutsche Bank’s clients over the internet. You will be working on enhancing applications that follow layered architecture pattern using JAVA EE architecture with an Oracle backend. With your engagement – the application team will strive to meet various global and country specific regulatory and market driven requirements for payment initiation and account reporting modules.
You'll collaborate with other Senior Engineers and Lead Engineers on the platform embracing agile practices to incrementally add functionality to the platform, with a sharp focus on automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD), partner with business and technology managers to create and maintain the application stack that provides Deutsche Bank's institutional clients the ability to initiate payments in real time and access to their account balances & statements in near real time, as well as enable the digital environment that helps our people share their knowledge, expertise, and real passion for our business.

What You’ll Do
Design and develop test execution plans with test approach and scenarios for product enhancements testing
Partner with business analysts and stakeholders situated in multiple regions and time-zones to understand requirements and convert the requirements into a well-engineered solution
Co-work with Quality Assurance (QA) team on test automation of new and existing functionality
Follow Quality assurance processes while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to automation & testing
Collaborate with engineers to participate and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions and specifications
Update the continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) approach to encompass the tests and influence system design for best testing practice, while maintaining knowledge of financial industry, specifically the Payments domain and the Bank’s operational model, learn how processes are implemented in different countries, and what data artifacts are being received or produced
Skills You’ll Need
Extensive Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)/Quality assurance manual / automation experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Java knowledge
Understanding of testing frameworks, familiarity working with Unix and windows platforms, and experience with Agile software development frameworks and processes
Experience with Backend testing experience for databases, user interface (UI) testing experience and application programming interface’s testing
Knowledge with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and automation experience with Test Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber
Familiarity with user interface/user experience (UX/UI) methodology
Skills That Will Help You Excel

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
