Clinical Research Associate – Cambridge, MA
An opportunity to be a part of business-critical projects within the Hospital Patient Monitoring Clinical Operations team- responsible for monitoring clinical research studies involving human subjects from its inception to close out according to budget, timelines, and delivery of high-quality data in compliance to all applicable regulations and Philips procedures.
Your role:
Play a critical role in the execution and monitoring of clinical studies from site start-up through close-out, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Collaborate with Clinical Study Managers and cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, vendors, and site staff.
Draft and manage essential study documents such as monitoring plans, informed consents, training materials, and device accountability logs.
Monitor clinical sites, track enrollment, verify source data, and manage documentation within Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and eTMF.
Ensure adherence to GCP, ISO14155, and internal procedures while maintaining audit-ready documentation and reports.
Act as the primary contact for study sites, resolving issues, supporting investigator communications, and contributing to site performance and team meetings.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), ideally within the medical device industry, including experience managing clinical trials and working with cross-functional teams.
Your skills include Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, eTMF, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), IRB processes, GCP, ISO14155, and tools for tracking study timelines and performance.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or health-related discipline.
You’re an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, able to work independently, prioritize tasks in a matrixed organization, and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $71,250 to $114,000.
The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $75,000 to $120,000.
The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $78,750 to 126,000.
The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $84,000 to 134,400.
At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.
