Job Description:
LOCATION: Columbus, MS
DUTIES: Performing and leading a team of mechanics and flight test technicians throughout day-to-day operations of aircraft flight test and delivery. Coordinating priorities and tasking technicians for aircraft operational support and maintenance on the Flightline as defined by Management to meet the flight test and delivery schedule. Ensuring technicians have the tools, data, and support required to perform their functions in accordance with published schedule. Supporting and performing training to ensure optimum performance in job procedures and methods. Monitor training requirements and ensure completeness of employees training records. Performing detailed assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components. Conducting and training technicians how to perform operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems to include ground and flight test operations such as engine adjustment and track and balance procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: 6 years in any job title involving experience as a technician focusing on the installation and troubleshooting of helicopter components. Prior experience must include: 2 years of working experience as a Senior Technician or equivalent; Working experience with flightline aircraft avionics; Working experience with helicopter maintenance; Experience with helicopter Rotor Track and Balance; Experience performing Functional and Maintenance Test Flight; Experience with helicopter airframe; Applying practical application of techniques and tooling required for aircraft vibration analysis and aircraft operational testing; and Performing maintenance and applying principles of operation and technical requirements and systems required on helicopter airframes .Valid aircraft maintenance mechanic license. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required for aircraft and subsystem training courses.
