Job Description

As a member of the Global Employee Communications and Engagement team, you’ll help us bring to life our goal to engage, inspire, and activate our various audiences. You’ll have a keen focus on our HR programs as well as the Global People Team. Everything moves quickly at a high-growth company, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working across the many facets of our team. This includes writing, strategic comms planning, project managing, as well as leading our Global People team communications ecosystem. In a nutshell, you’ll lead the communications for our HR organization. 

How you’ll do it:  

  • Strategic comms planning – You will help develop and execute a strategic communications plan for the Chief People and AI Enablement Officer (CPAEO) and Global People team, including supporting the Director with internal communications, thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and media relations.  
  • Writing – You’ll be the “first pen” for assets such as briefing docs, townhall scripts, and communications for the Global People Team. 
  • Team editorial lead – You will turn ideas into compelling narratives, frameworks, and creative storytelling concepts. This will include improving processes and measuring engagement across our internal metrics that show where we’ve been and help us determine what’s next.   
  • Project management – You’ll make sure work flows seamlessly across the Global People Team as we execute milestone moments, including Town Halls, Ask Me Anything Sessions, and other key events. Key teams like brand, production, and storytelling will look to you for all things process, procedure, and deadlines.  
  • Trend tracking – You’ll have a journalistic mindset, seeking out new trends and ways to communicate across the Global People Team.   
  • External social – You will help support and develop creative storytelling concepts for thought leadership and social content for our Chief People and AI Enablement Officer in collaboration with the Director and Office of the CPAEO.  
  • Accolades and external recognition programs – It’s important to us to honor the hard work that’s done throughout the year. You will be part of the team that will help identify and share our favorite projects through internal and external communications. 
  • Global People Team alignment – Partner across the team to ensure alignment and impact to our People Pact and Global People Team program communications. You will work with the Global Communications team to ensure message alignment and consistency across all audiences. 

Who you’ll work with: 

You will partner most closely with the Director of Employee Communications, Global People Team. You’ll also partner across the Global People Team, Global Communications and Corporate Affairs, Brand, Marketing, and Executive Communications—just to name a few. Of course, we also partner closely with employees across the company as well to bring our People Pact and their amazing stories to life! 

Qualifications

Who you are:  

You know how to create engaging communications assets – whether it’s for internal employees or C-suite audiences. You have good analytic and decision-making skills. Your strong communication skills help you influence others. You love to get creative and be part of team. Your able to easily juggling many projects at once and pivot quickly when needed. And, your writing is on fire.

Our minimum requirements for this role include: 

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or related field
  • 10 years of employee communications experience, with an interest in building a career in corporate communications at a tech company
  • Strong project manager (experience leading internal companywide events and experiences a plus!)
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment; strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to drive coordination across stakeholders 
  • Ability to flex with fast growth and frequent change, and adapt plans and approaches in real-time (experience in a hypergrowth tech company is a plus!) 
  • Motivated communicator who can flex and independently prioritize shifting workloads in a high-growth, ever-changing environment (experience in a hypergrowth tech company is a plus!) 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all communications deliverables 
  • Excellent writer and verbal communicator
  • Strong natural ability to identify, develop, and tell a great story across multiple media 
  • BS/BA degree required

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $152,700 - $267,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
