Key responsibilities:

In line with Division objectives and under instructions/ guidance of a technical lead or manager, this role will provide technical support/administration of moderate to highly complex systems/databases/applications for internal or external customers ensuring high reliability and integration of projects.

• Production deployment planning & co-ordination as per Agile sprint requirements
• Deployment of on-prem and cloud based products.
• Identify and address efficiency improvements without compromising the security and controls
• Actively participate in all Agile sprint ceremonies
• Liaison between Production Operations and the Tribe
• Planning, co-ordination and execution of Operational Readiness Testing
• Ready to take additional responsibilities as needed in the sprints.
• Participate in Innovation and Automation opportunities
• Be the gatekeeper for the product quality, risk mitigation and compliance as per Agile Control Framework
• Collaborate with squad to enable DevOps journey
• Actively participate to Build, Run and maintain the CI/CD pipeline with the squad.

Education and Technical Experience

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in IT Industry
• Exposure to UNIX platforms and scripting languages

Recent experience in one or more of the below areas

• Application Deployments/Management in an enterprise setup
• Installing and Configuring backend applications in multi-site environment
• Handling configuration/maintenance of COTS products. For example : Oracle Weblogic Server, Apache Tomcat, Cassandra (DB)
• Mission critical application testing/qualification

Required Technical Skills

• RHEL Platform
• Shell, Perl, Python scripting
• Ansible
• JIRA, Confluence and office management tools

Preferred Technical Qualifications

• Experience in cloud deployments is a plus
• Prior Swift product knowledge is a definite advantage.
• DevOps mindset is a must. Experience in this area is an added advantage.
• Prior engagement in innovation & automation is desired.
• Current knowledge of Ansible
• Inclination to productivity improvements by challenging the status quo.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is 74,830 MINIMUM to 138,970 MAXIMUM USD.  Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.  Our generous benefits program includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no premium costs for our employees and their families, and retirement plan plus matching 401k.
