Overview
As a full stack engineer in our technology team, you will be responsible for hands on development and test management for a in house payment processing application. This role requires good understanding of development tools and associated test solution that will fit in to compliment automated testing of the development blocks. This role focuses on test management engineering around the development practice to ensure seamless integration from build to test to release.
Our program is a in house developed client portfolio management system to support cash movement, mutual fund and custody trade booking, tax processing, reporting operations, transaction ledger, multi-currency.

What You’ll Do
Working as part of a global technology team and Business stakeholders on design of new features
Hands on development and testing
Ensure that solutions are in line with department and domain architecture strategies and contribute to defining and improving those strategies
Helping to build, maintain and continually implement tests for an automated testing framework that includes unit testing, integration and functional tests across components and modules
Work collaboratively - sharing knowledge and helping mentor teammates in your areas of expertise
Participate in L3 Production Support, investigate and fix production issues
How You’ll Lead
Experience driving technical deliveries across teams and mentoring and/or managing junior developers
Engage with business, product stakeholders and external clients effectively
Interact with global team leads and collaborate
Skills You’ll Need
Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST application programming interface (APIs), Junit, SQL Shell Script, JMS, Message Queue (MQ)/ Kafka. Javascript React JS
Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, TeamCity/Jenkins, Artifactory
Experience working in an Agile environment; Experience designing scalable solutions across technologies
Understanding of running a development team
Bachelors degree in IS, CS, or Data Science, with advanced degree preferred
Skills That Will Help You Excel
GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or OpenShift or any public cloud experience
Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
Quality focus – experience in test frameworks, test planning and execution in distributed systems
Willingness to work full stack (including front or back end if required)
Experience of work in financial industry technology and understanding of Investment Banking financial products and associated trading workflows/platforms
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
