Job Description

The position will be responsible for the completion of maintenance activities at multiple Bosch facilities. 

  • Maintain the building automation systems for multiple locations, including completing any repair and installation work that is required. 
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of the current states of the building automation systems, including all sequences of operation and as built drawings. 
  • Consult with and assist other facilities in North America on their building automation systems. 
  • Assist with other maintenance activities, such as building rounds and mechanical equipment maintenance, as required by department leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience with programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting of building automation systems
  • Familiarity and/or experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Niagara Building Automation System platforms
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC/R equipment
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot building equipment issues
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple DDC systems
  • Familiarity with Electrical Safe Work Practices
  • Previous aerial work platform operation certification
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program familiarity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Arc Flash Safety programs (NFPA 70E)
  • EPA 608 Certification (Universal is preferred)
  • Previous forklift operation certification
  • Variable Frequency Drive troubleshooting and programming experience
  • Experience repairing mechanical equipment – i.e. Air Handling Equipment
  • Experience working in teams
  • State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License
  • Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) experience
