Job Description

The position will be responsible for the completion of maintenance activities at multiple Bosch facilities.

Maintain the building automation systems for multiple locations, including completing any repair and installation work that is required.
Maintaining accurate documentation of the current states of the building automation systems, including all sequences of operation and as built drawings.
Consult with and assist other facilities in North America on their building automation systems.
Assist with other maintenance activities, such as building rounds and mechanical equipment maintenance, as required by department leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting of building automation systems
Familiarity and/or experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Niagara Building Automation System platforms
Strong knowledge and understanding of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC/R equipment
Ability to diagnose and repair complex control systems
Ability to troubleshoot building equipment issues
Extensive knowledge of multiple DDC systems
Familiarity with Electrical Safe Work Practices
Previous aerial work platform operation certification
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program familiarity

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Arc Flash Safety programs (NFPA 70E)
EPA 608 Certification (Universal is preferred)
Previous forklift operation certification
Variable Frequency Drive troubleshooting and programming experience
Experience repairing mechanical equipment – i.e. Air Handling Equipment
Experience working in teams
State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License
Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) experience
