Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the company's market presence. This role involves researching and analyzing trends in the Battery and EV market. Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, and develop strategies to penetrate this focus market. The Battery/EV Vertical Lead will collaborate with internal teams, including product management, key account managers, sales, marketing, product development, central & local departments as well as the Battery COC in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in this market and an understanding of it’s sales and engineering cycles. The candidate should also have exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth. Identifying and building the business case to support developing solutions sets with product management and application engineering teams, for the Battery/EV market, will be an important aspect of this role.
By taking on the role of Vertical Lead for the Battery/EV Market, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth and success of our manufacturing company. Your strategic vision, industry expertise, and relationship-building skills will be key in expanding our market presence and achieving our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the strategic growth and market share for the Battery/EV market that align with customer needs. This would include conducting market research, analysis and creation of business cases to support the investment required to develop solutions sets and prototypes. Finding and securing prototypes on new platforms is a key driver for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
