About the Position

The new Vice President of Digital Transformation Strategy & Portfolio will be a key driver of HP's digital transformation and innovation culture. With a focus on defining the North Star, leveraging “art of the possible” experience to re-engineer HP’s processes achieving sustainable and scalable value. This role will create in collaboration with businesses and functions the Digital Transformation Strategy and Roadmap across the enterprise. Critical components are identifying the E2E opportunities across value chains with a heavy process and metric view including the approach to accelerate transformation. Further this leader is key to develop and track to the strategy including the rigor of end-to-end tracking for opportunities and management of investment portfolio.

This leader’s team will comprise of ~20-25 Process Engineers, Product Managers, and Analysts.

This role reports to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer and Head of Digital Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate E2E Process Transformation to define and achieve Pan-HP target state (North Star / Vision) ​
  • Execution of Pan-HP transformation Roadmap and Portfolio Prioritization ​
  • Develop and implement target Operating Model​ including Agile practices
  • Augment business and functional teams with process excellence SME expertise
  • Define Process Architecture and alignment of KPIs
  • Provide External Benchmarking​ to monitor and refine North Stars

Experience and Skills Required

  • 15+ years of Leadership experience
  • 15+ years of operational experience in Manufacturing and Digital industries  
  • Strong background in process design/engineering, product management, and design thinking
  • Expertise in agile development methodologies

  • Motivation and Impression: Must have a strong competitive drive and the ability to lead and motivate the organization and influence successful change.
  • Relationships and Interpersonal Skills: He/she must be able to build and sustain an excellent relationship at multiple levels in the workplace.  Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills required.
  • Builds Organizational Capability Through Team Development: He/she has a well- developed ability to assess talent and bench strength. He/she will lead the building of high-performing teams committed to organizational goals, will foster collaboration among individuals and teams, and will use teams to address relevant issues.  He/she can establish rapport and effective relationships and let people be responsible for their work, sharing wins, successes, and accountability.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $280,000 - $350,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
