Job Description: 

The Strategic Planning team plays a crucial role developing and shaping the foundry strategic long range business plan by optimizing demand, factory capacity, capital equipment planning and pricing. As a global organization, we are comprised of exceptional professionals working collaboratively across continents. Together, we partner with Foundry Business Units, Sales Ops and our factories to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our capital investments to ensure high asset utilization.About the Role: We are seeking a senior leader to manage an experienced team responsible for manufacturing demand requirements planning across multiple time horizons and manufacturing stages from wafer processing thru back end assembly and test. This team focuses on the conversion of raw demand signals from our foundry business teams into capacity and supply requirements comprehending various demand scenarios and manufacturing parameters, decision analysis for complex investment and timing decisions, and related business processes and systems requirements to support demand and requirements planning. The team is expected to also maintain an independent point of view of foundry demand in order to properly test incoming demand signals and ensure high data quality, as part of a larger foundry strategic planning team driving capital decisions for Intel Foundry.ResponsibilitiesExecute Intel Foundry demand and requirements planning processes in partnership with upstream and downstream stakeholdersDrive supply/demand decision analysis ahead of trigger dates and where required based on changing requirements environments (e.g. demand changes, parameter updates, execution risks)Engage with account teams, business development, sales operations, and marketing/portfolio teams to understand customer demand and other manufacturing requirementsLeverage network and expert sources to maintain an independent point of view for the drivers of manufacturing requirements, including demand, parameters, and project execution. Work effectively and efficiently with partners and upstream data providers to challenge data where appropriate, and correct incoming data quality problems.Partner with Intel Foundry and corporate planning stakeholders to develop and improve foundry demand planning business processes consistent with industry standards and future needs of the Intel Foundry business.Evolve business processes and team roles/responsibilities where needed as Intel Foundry organization structure and business processes continue to developBe the voice of manufacturing requirements and scenarios in internal foundry strategic planning team discussions, and to foundry manufacturing leadership

Qualifications:

QualificationsEngineering degree or equivalent experience with a focus on Industrial Engineering disciplines15-20+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and planningStrong executive communications and presentation skillsDemonstrated experience in multivariable scenario planning comprehending demand variability, technical parameter variability, and project execution risks (both internal and with our foundry customers).Proven track record of transforming foundry requirements planning, including deploying new techniques and business processes, and training individuals responsible for executing theseKnowledgeable of industry standard practices and business processes for foundry planning (S and OE/S and OP/LRP); able to describe best practices in detail for demand and requirements planningPreferred knowledge of datacenter and client product roadmaps, and the overall demand environment for these market segmentsExternal foundry experience is a plus; equivalent experience working with foundry customers and leveraging internal networks of foundry experts will also be considered.Experience with semiconductor design and product execution is a plusCustomer-facing engagement on requirements and capacity planning is a plus (ex: planning-related terms and conditions, contract negotiation, capacity scenarios)MBA or equivalent experience is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$219,070.00-$309,280.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
