Overview
As a Senior DevOps/Cloud Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure for our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with AI/Data Engineers to ensure that applications are deployed efficiently and reliably and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to meet business objectives. You will also mentor junior members of the DevOps team and work with management to improve the overall efficiency of the DevOps process.

What You’ll Do
Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Integrate GitHub Actions with other tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
Design and maintain workflows for various development and deployment tasks, ensuring seamless integration and efficient execution
Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration, ensuring code quality and consistency across the development team. Develop automation scripts using GitHub Actions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency
Implement security measures and compliance checks within GitHub Actions workflows to ensure the integrity and security of the codebase. Set up monitoring and logging systems within GitHub Actions to track the performance and reliability of applications
Add Veracode pipeline scans as steps in GitHub Actions workflows. This includes using YAML code examples to configure GitHub Action workflows for building projects and running pipeline scans, integrating Veracode Application Programming Interface credentials, and utilizing preconfigured GitHub Actions available in the GitHub Marketplace
Develop and maintain workflows that inherit configurations from existing pipelines. This includes ensuring compatibility and seamless integration with tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and other CI/CD platforms, while transitioning to GitHub Actions
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Advanced experience in DevOps/Cloud Ops or related field, with a strong proficiency in cloud platforms preferably Google Cloud Platform
Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, containerization and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.) for automation and scripting
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to work cross-functionally and within a fast-paced collaborative environment
Ability to communicate proficiently when discussing technical issues
Able to identify and implement solutions to meet business objectives
Work alongside and mentor junior team members on best practices within DevOps
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
