Legal & Compliance (L&C) Taiwan team is in charge of all L&C related topics and issues. In addition to contract review, the Legal team also handles inquiries or investigations from the regulator or government authorities. As for compliance function, apart from designing the internal controlling mechanism, this team is also responsible for closely monitoring the business and ensure compliance, such as personal dealing, G&E, AML, etc., as well as seeking clarification on regulatory matters from the regulator.

Our L&C team is now looking for a summer intern to join the team. You will be based in Taiwan. In this role, you will have the opportunities to understand the business arrangement and learn the legal document preparation of the Taiwan asset management industry.

What you do:

Assist in collecting and comparing the regulation environments among different jurisdictions.
Collect L&C practices among our peers in Taiwan in respect of the ETF products regime.
Support document sorting and convert paper documents to electronic files.
Assist in Investment Compliance Matrix of all accounts.

What you bring:

University students (3rd year of study or above) or master's students in Law (preferred), Information Management, Finance, Business Management or Accounting.
Familiar with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese (native).
