What you’ll achieve

You will responsible for Shock & Vibration (S&V) validation of servers and work with development teams, suppliers and 3rd party labs to ensure product reliability meets or exceeds targeted goals.

You will:

· Analyze and present requirements in form of Statement of Works and Functional Plans as necessary.

· Develop test plans, test schedule, test methods and fixturing to validate designs.

· Project management of supplier S&V lab(s) and resources including direct support to suppliers for S&V validation

techniques, failure analysis and solutions.

· Initiate standard test plans for qualification and investigation, monitor progress and report results.

· Develop test methodologies as needed for evaluating additional features and needs based upon lessons learned

Essential Requirements

· Bachelor or master in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required and minimum of 8 years of work experience

· Mechanical design analysis in shock and vibration and work experience in IT products.

· Good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills and with organizational and written & oral communication skills

· Understanding of S&V test equipment, lab procedures of shock, vibration, packaging and mechanical testing

· Failure analysis capability with HW/SW analysis tools, equipment advancement and test methodology

Desirable Requirements

· Experience with finite element analysis, boundary element analysis, and/or statistical energy analysis is a plus
