The HP Commercial PC Business Unit is driving market-leading innovation and performance in the dynamic Commercial PC Market. To further enable our success, Commercial PC Business Operations has built a Cost Excellence team chartered to take full advantage of HP’s capability to drive industry-leading costs into all Commercial PC Products. This critical role will require a solid understanding of Personal Computing design, components, and cost drivers, and will engage heavily with stakeholder organizations to drive cost excellence.
If you are our Commercial Cost Operations Analyst in Taiwan, you will have a chance to:
Key Responsibilities:
Execute/drive the Cost Management Process focused on end-to-end costs including regular stakeholder reviews and preparation of cost analytics/dashboards to create visibility and drive improvement
Engage with stakeholder organizations in R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, and Finance to align product cost targets with product requirements and business objectives before during, and after RFQ processes
Support product development processes by creating and managing the ability to analyze cost scenarios under differing design and procurement approaches
Working with procurement/supply chain, provides the BPS organization with a better understanding of the impact of future projected costs associated with key commodities, components, and non-material items to support business analysis and planning functions
Participate in analysis projects to better understand the cost competitiveness of HP products below the system level, focusing on key technologies, components,and commodities. Enable linkages between product management and supply chain to drive competitive advantage.
Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
Typically 12+ years of experience in cost analysis.
Familiar with PC product development process.
Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.
Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
Excellent internal and external relationship management skills.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
Very Strong project management skills, with the capability to manage cross-functional teams in multiple geographies.
Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within the area of responsibility.
Very strong understanding of HP's overall supply chain strategy.
Excellent understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP, and master scheduling.
Excellent understanding of national and international trade requirements to align customs/trade functions with business objectives.
Thorough knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis.
Strong leadership skills including team-building conflict resolution and management.
Excellent understanding of developing and managing a trade compliance program.
