Creating a digital vision and strategy for the bank, and ensuring its integration with the organization's overall strategic plans
Identifying opportunities for differentiating the bank's digital portfolio including capabilities and solutions
Acting as a change agent in leading the organizational changes that are required to create and maintain the necessary digital portfolio.
Applying extensive knowledge and understanding of the evolving digital market, acts as a thought leader on emerging digital trends related to technology and business.
The Application Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of local application, managing application projects as per local business and/or regulatory requirements, and address all application related issues.

Your key responsibilities:
Application Support
Manage and support the overall applications production environment in Taiwan Support regulatory reporting and application registration process.
Review and support implementation of application change, ensure the change is comply with the group’s standard change management procedure.
Monitor and review applications production alerts, and to take appropriate actions, if necessary.
Manage/support production incident involving application supported and perform necessary communications & escalations to stakeholders by following the group’s standard incident management procedure.
Manage local application projects, ensure the business and/or regulatory requirements are implemented on time.
Review delivery by vendor to ensure solution is proper and in accordance with DB standards, track and monitor vendor delivery to ensure all issues & bug fixes are resolved in timely manner.
Ensure all issues/problems/incidents are logged, reviewed and closed in reasonable time.
Address all system gaps (reported or self-identified) are prioritized and closed accordingly.
Closely monitor and ensure all issues identified by RACER, NAR, and vulnerability scanning are addressed timely.
Ensure DR procedures of local applications are up-to-date, perform DR/BCM test and ensure all identified issues are remediated in time.
Support DR/BCM test for global applications.
Monitor application TRC status and well plan for the required H/W & S/W upgrade in advance.
Monitor H/W, S/W, application components health regularly, review and take appropriate actions eg. Morning checks, and any routine checks, etc.
Liaise with various IT teams (both application and infrastructure) for any issue which impacts application production environment and its infrastructure.
Daily Operation
Take shift to perform daily system health check (8am but subject to change) before office hours to ensure IT systems can support business operations, escalate issues identified to manager and regional counterpart and follow up issues till they are closed.
End user support, including diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals; and Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and operating systems.
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting banking/financial applications.
Working knowledge and support experience on banking applications in Taiwan.
Ability to work on weekend and odd hours to support production change/issue/incident as and when required.
Experience in working with vendor, and vendor management.
Good relationship, communication, and negotiation skills.
Good project management skills and ability to work against tight deadlines & fast paced environment.
Proven initiative; self-starter; highly motivated; can work independently
Familiar with local regulatory requirements.
Literate in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
