Comprehensive Growth
Comprehensive Development Program • Participate in a structured development program covering areas such as retail banking, corporate finance, risk management, and wealth management. • Gain hands-on experience through rotation in various departments, including customer service, business development, and internal operations, to understand end-to-end banking processes. • Complete the required certifications to engage in the business development processes.
Business Development & Customer Management • Assist in acquiring new Priority Banking Clients and Premium Banking clients, maintaining strong relationships, promoting banking products (e.g., loans, deposits, investment solutions), and providing relevant service to customers. • Contribute to the team’s business plans for the expansion of business opportunities in target areas.
Risk Management & Compliance • Follow internal audits, risk control processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Develop new clients and maintain the relationship aligned with SCB’s conduct and compliances.
Market & Product Offering Update • Understand the real-time market trends to provide clients with market information to meet the clients’ needs and fulfil the sales target. • Familiar with and promote the SCB’s product and limited-time campaign offerings to clients.
Leadership Development • Develop teamwork and leadership capabilities to prepare for managerial positions in the future.
Regulatory & Business Conduct • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Key stakeholders
Strong academic performance: prior internship experience in the banking/financial sector is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Logical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities. • Familiarity with banking and financial products is a plus; experience in business development is an advantage.
Language Proficiency • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or local dialects), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Background • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
