What you do:

Join Allianz Partners, a global insurance intermediary and third-party administrator (TPA) supporting Allianz insurance companies worldwide. We provide strategic insurance products and systems to B2B partners, including automobile manufacturers, dealer networks, and FinTech companies. Our Specialty Lines include extended warranty insurance, vehicle maintenance contracts, payment protection insurance (PPI), and guaranteed asset protection (GAP).

As an Underwriting & Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and developing Specialty Lines products across the APAC region. You will oversee the full product and underwriting lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs. Working closely with internal teams and Allianz Group entities, you will contribute to new product development, innovative business models, and market expansion across multiple markets.

Essential Job Functions:

Supporting the growth objectives of the Specialty Lines business from product and underwriting perspectives
Delivering pricing programs requests, based on central data analytics as well as experience and according to business requirements, plus the regulatory environment.
Monitoring and analyzing product performance and providing feedback for improvement
Engaging in product-related questions, e.g., coverage, exclusions, pricing, proposals etc.
Aligning timely and successful delivery proposals to partners and markets in compliance with UW guidelines and governance.
Maintaining and developing pricing tools
Developing and/or improving calculation approaches and methodologies

What you bring:

Know-how of underwriting guidelines
Knowledge of conventional insurance products and wordings
Apply the pricing knowledge of various pricing tools and awareness of tools available.
Portfolio management claims analysis and modelling experience.
Demonstrated experience in pricing and/or underwriting.
Flexibility to work in an international environment.
Strong communication in English oral and written.
Analytic and problem-solving mindset.
Knowledge of R or other statistical tools
