Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:• Manage a team responsible for package software application development.• Coordinate project execution and allocate resources efficiently.• Collaborate with senior management to define departmental goals.• Ensure the timely delivery of software solutions.• Provide technical guidance to team members.• Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to coding standards.• Facilitate collaboration with other departments and teams.• Identify and address project risks and issues.Basic Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline, preferred
- 5 years hands on experience in SAP ABAP programming on application development projects with various scale
- Experience as SAP developer architecting solutions in SAP using ABAP, object-oriented programming, comprehensive debugging and performance tuning and scalable solution design
- Experience with SAP FIORI Development with knowledge of various SAP modules, Interfaces, and a solid understanding of both functional and technical aspects and methodology.
- Experience with Rapid Application and Cloud Application development is required.
- Knowledge of all aspects of an SAP environment - PI, SolMan, IDOC’s, BW, and HANA.
- Experience with programming Function Modules, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, User Exits, Enhancements, Reports and Dialog Programming
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Other Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile and Dev/Ops methodologies, e.g. Scrum or SAFe
- Experience with design, development and implementation of SAP Workflows
- SAP/ABAP development skills and business knowledge on SAP ECC specifically in SAP BI, marginally in BO, BW, SD, HANA
- Experience in design and development of interfaces between SAP and non-SAP
- Experience with consuming SOAP and REST based web services in SAP
- Knowledge of SAP interfacing technologies (ALE/IDoc, EDI, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces)
- Knowledge of modern enhancement techniques using BAdI and/or the Enhancement Framework
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire to work on a collaborative high performing team, still having a reasonable level of self-organization and independence in ownership and judgement
- Analytical, problem solving skills
- An attitude of motivated self-starter
- An open, flexible and adaptable mindset to cope with a rapidly changing set of tasks
