The Associate Engineer will be responsible for Satellite platform and systems supporting satellite services. He/She possesses in experience in networking, systems and security, or relevant experience in Satellite environment.

Make an Impact by

To maintain, operate and monitor Satellite platforms equipment such as Routers, Switches, iDirect Hubs systems, Firewalls, Satellite modems, 2FA systems
To provide Satellite platform support and problem management for Satellite-IP, Maritime VSAT (MVSAT), Inmarsat services, Mail platforms, Voice & data Services, ICT devices such as Smartbox, SIP phone, firewall and Security.
To perform configuration, implementation and commissioning of the satellite services
To review incident management and escalation from stakeholders and to ensure the SLA for the services are met.
To support implementation of solutions on new systems, products, implementation, customized solutions
To support Change Management for systems, OS upgrades and security & vulnerabilities patches
To review resource and utilization of the network and system capacity.

Skills for Success

Diploma in Satellite Communications Engineering/ Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineer / Information Technology / Networking Engineering from a recognized institution. (Fresh graduates are welcome)
Applicants without the necessary qualifications but with relevant experience and skillset will also be considered.
Knowledge in satellite communications.
Strong leadership with drive to take on challenging roles.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Operational readiness on 24 X 7 environment.
Ability to perform 12 hours shift operations.
