Job Description

Team Summary

The Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam & Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia) cluster Finance Business Partner team supports one of the fastest growing markets in Visa Asia Pacific with over 100 staff located across the various markets and in Singapore. The IPVMC Finance Business Partner team are responsible for creating and maintaining a high standard of financial discipline, decision support and accountability within the geography to facilitate delivery of short-term financial targets and long-term growth targets.

What a Finance Manager, FP&A does at Visa:

The Finance Manager, FP&A reports to the Senior Director and will serve as a key member of the Southeast Asia – IPVMC Finance Business Partner team. The Finance Manager will lead in-depth P&L analysis to support monthly reviews, forecasts, annual budget and multi-year planning activities and provide financial support relating to current performance, growth strategies and business case analysis of client incentives deals and other market/function initiatives.

  • Develop and prepare relevant metrics and management reports to communicate financial results to senior management

  • Lead the multi-year business planning, budgeting and forecasting process for Revenues, Client Incentives and Operating Expenses. Coordinate projections from stakeholders across various functional teams plus lead the review and challenge process.

  • Work closely with country functional leads to manage operating expense budgets including ongoing tracking and forecasting, as well as due diligence on the proposed expense initiatives.

  • Active participation and support the development of the financial business case for incentive deals and country growth initiatives – provide finance support as it relates to deal strategy, business case structuring and analysis, review and support through management approval and life cycle management of executed deals, including forecasting, deal amendments and performance tracking

  • Collaborate in the storyboarding of analytical output and production of communication materials for related presentations

  • Identify risk and opportunities (plus mitigating actions) to ensure delivery on targets

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis for management. Proactively identify key business drivers trends and communicate business implications of analysis, with ability to simplify and present complex issues to stakeholders and prescribe any relevant follow up action

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field. MBA is a plus •At least 8 years work experience with 6 years of financial analysis experience in FP&A preferably with an MNC with regional operations •Hyperion, TM1, and advanced application of pivot tables, macros and formulas would be added advantage •Demonstrates well-developed analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills •Proven expertise in modelling techniques and managing large data sets •Ability to succinctly present and inform decision making with well-structured analysis •Attention to detail with a keen aptitude to ensure accuracy and quality of output •Strong business acumen and commercial intuition. •Strong leadership skills to influence, generate support and momentum among stakeholders and peers •Strong intellectual curiosity and bias for action. Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues with balance of independence •Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross- functionally with all levels of management to produce time sensitive deliverables Preferred Qualifications •Knowledge of Visa business payment industry and business intelligence reporting systems •Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
