This is a senior leadership role within Group Retail Marketing. The position is responsible for providing Core Banking and Wealth Products Marketing inclusive of Deposits, Secured Lending, Brand Marketing and Wealth Products (investments and insurance) Marketing.
This includes working closely with the Business Heads to understand their business strategies and translating them into go-to-market strategies and initiatives to achieve agreed yearly business targets.
• Together with Product owners, Sales, Customer franchise, Compliance and Legal stakeholders, develop and implement marketing programs that drive customer acquisitions, leads and ROI while strengthening the segment brand proposition. This includes lifecycle customer engagement activities (new to bank, early month on books, activation, retention, etc.) • Work closely with the Analytics and Channels teams for more effective customer targeting and marketing effectiveness metrics. • Conceptualise and develop customer value propositions (CVPs) and messaging for key strategic initiatives and campaigns. • Work closely with the Group Channels team to identify and articulate new retail branch CVPs to develop effective launch communication and customer journey engagement strategy. This includes providing consultation on branch design and identifying marketing opportunities within the retail branches. • Evaluate market trends/condition and competitive data to identify opportunities within and around the retail branches that create valuable consumer experiences to support retail bank’s omnichannel strategy. • Provide governance on bank-wide retail branch marketing assets management. • Provide direction and guidance to creative agencies to develop and articulate CVPs that translate into effective communication strategy for all customer touchpoints. • Plan media buying strategies and work closely with media agencies in contract negotiations to ensure optimal media placements and reach. • Plan and monitor allocated marketing budgets and marketing initiatives to achieve agreed yearly business targets. • Monitor and track campaign performances and results to aid learnings for future campaigns and for best practice sharing. • Manage and maintain all aspects of the budget including invoice payment, accruals, forecasting and expense reconciliation.
• Demonstration of leadership qualities including critical thinking, conceptual thinking and senior executive presence. • At least 12 years of Marketing/Creative Agency/Banking experience • Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business • Experienced in managing and working with senior leadership • Strong digital background • Strong branding/design sense with business acumen • Creative and resourceful in finding solutions • Tenacious and results-oriented with attention-to-details • Excellent project and people management skills
