Make an Impact by:

Carrier Voice:

  • To manage Singtel and Optus Net outpayment vs market and ensure its cost competitiveness in support of the Singtel / Optus Consumer and Enterprise Groups competition in their respective market.
  • Transit Business – To incentivise overseas partners to use both Singtel / Optus as a transit hub in transiting their voice traffic to the rest of the world.
  • Develop regional SIP/UC services, negotiate and build partnership with local/global carriers for overseas local SIP/numbers commercials, assess demand on country coverage, regional POP set up, business case development, product construct and end to end process development, customer portal development, assess overseas regulatory framework.
  • Process automation and cost optimsation for improved product profitability.
  • Ensure that commercial voice deal is evaluated based on its cost competitiveness and quality vis-a-viz market.
  • Ensure that our IDD traffic is routed based on an agreed set of voice quality benchmarks and working hand in hand with International Switch in the event of a voice traffic degradation.
  • Design Carrier Voice Account Managers performance KPIs for both Singtel and Optus.
  • Work with Singtel International Settlement Team (IAS), internal teams and overseas partners in any dispute/fraud resolution.
  • Work with the team continually to review and optimise the number of bilateral voice connections with our overseas partners.
  • Work with Optus fraud / revenue assurance team to clamp down on potential fraudulent traffic.

ELL:

  • Develop product features, pricing plan, and business processes for ELL services. Engage partners and work with Engineering, IS and Operations on the development of new services.
  • Identify target market and product positioning of new services.
  • Develop product strategies and manage product life cycle.
  • Develop product costing with Finance and maintain an updated set of product costing.  Continuously review product processes and cost components to reduce product costing and increase product profitability.
  • Ensure continuous process review and improvement to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency as well as reduce cost.
  • Monitor and ensure that revenue and profitability targets of the product are met.  Detect any negative trends, investigate and explain any anomalies in revenue or costing trends and propose solutions to correct it.
  • Enhance product features and review pricing to ensure product competitiveness and service quality based on benchmarks/feedbacks.
  • Ensure availability and timeliness of product information to internal stakeholders as well as provide product training to various stakeholders.
  • Analyze market and competitive information to identify market needs and corresponding product enhancements / development required.
  • Develop product policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Engage customer for better understanding of market demand and sensing.
  • Engage sales and segments to gain mindshare and drive towards product revenue/drivers targets.
  • Drive and manage key government projects.
  • Manage domdata regulatory compliance program.

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • At least 5- 10 years in product management, solution experience in Voice/UC and Carrier Voice services, global partnership development, as people manager, managing a team with financial KPIs.

    • Global telcom partnerships
  • Knowledge of technology developments, market trends, and needs of the enterprise business market.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to construct and evaluate business case and portfolio performance.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams.
  • Good problem solving and process management skills.
