JOB SUMMARY

  • Standard Chartered is investing significantly in digital transformation to improve our productivity, client and employee experience and creating capacity to reinvest in incremental growth activities.  The Pan-Bank ISO20022 Programme which addresses the new global standard for High Value (HVPS) and Cross Border Payments (CBPR+) messaging.  A new common language is being implemented for low value domestic schemes globally issued by the International Standards Organisation “ISO”.  The programme is focussed on upgrading existing message gateways, downstream systems and define the channel and preferred messaging format received through SWIFT transaction Management Platform in line with the “Society for Worldwide International Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) programme to adopt the ISO 20022 standards. 
  • The role reports to the Programme Director Payments Transformation and will be Responsible to manage the Test Execution for the ISO20022 Pan-Bank Program for end-to-end Interface coordination across cash and non-cash platforms. This individual will ensure all the Test Controls are followed and drive testing completion with help of Engineering Teams, Country representatives, Business Teams, Client Service team, Site Reliability Engineering team and Operations Teams.           

RESPONSIBILITIES

E2ETesting Management

  • Provide overall program/project testing estimation for testing teams.
  • Confirm testing engagement (i.e., reserve testing resources)
  • Review and follow up the final version of the Functional Specification Document (FSD)
  • Attend Functional Specification Document workshop
  • Prepare Test Strategy (i.e., conduct workshop, gather inputs from the teams and other relevant stakeholders, draft the Test Strategy document)
  • Publish Test Strategy (i.e., including uploading into the Programme Document Repository (PDR))
  • Obtain Approvals for Test Strategy 
  • Prepare Detailed Day Zero Checklist
  • Create Single Point of Contact (SPOC) details for all the TP systems

  • Azure DevOps (ADO) Project Creation coordination
  • Document the Testing Risk, Provide Risk Mitigation, Tracking till closure.
  • Closing of Testing Risk
  • Upload Test Artifacts into PDR/Confluence
  • Drive best test metric management practices across the testing phases.
  • Create detailed Dashboard for the Program updates.
  • Publish Test Status report covering end to end status to senior stakeholders.
  • Revisit & revise testing approach based on the change requests
  • Represent testing in Project meeting
  • To attend the Post Mortem/High Severity Production Discussion and to provide observation /feedback/lesson learn in testing related items
  • Incorporate testing related learnings in subsequent project/program

  • 10+ years of experience in test management, ideally within the banking or financial sector.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
