The Business Development and Strategy Officer will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring operational efficiency within the GSAA region spanning across Dubai, Singapore, Switzerland, India, UK. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The scope of this role includes:

  • Managing the sales pipeline across multiple locations.

  • Overseeing budgeting and financial forecasting.

  • Preparing strategic presentations for various stakeholders.

  • Analyzing and reporting on weekly performance metrics.

  • Facilitating communication and coordination among regional teams and the performance management team.

  • Contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Your key responsibilities:

Pipeline Management:

  • Assist the Subregion Head in managing and maintaining the sales pipeline across all GSAA regions.

  • Track and report on pipeline progress, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the pipeline and communicate them to the Subregion Head.

Budgeting:

  • Coordinate the budgeting process for the GSAA regions, working closely with finance and regional teams.

  • Monitor budget expenditures and provide regular reports on budget performance.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budget planning sessions.

Strategic Presentations:

  • Prepare and compile strategic presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure the timely mailing and distribution of presentations and other relevant documents.

  • Maintain a repository of presentation materials and templates.

Weekly Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze weekly performance data, generating reports and insights for the Subregion Head.

  • Coordinate with the performance management team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

  • Support the creation of performance dashboards and other tracking tools.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between the Subregion Head, regional teams, and the performance management team.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across different teams and regions.

  • Organize and participate in meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes as needed.

Strategic Planning:

  •  Assist in the development and implementation of business development strategies and initiatives.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.

  • Support strategic decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Your skills and experience:

  • Graduate in Bachelor of Commerce/Finance background.

  • Experience in a similar role with banks/Big 4 consultancy firms

  • Proficient in excel (Advanced levels) and Powerpoint (Advanced) is a must.

  • Knowledge & experience in Macros

  • Keen to learn, creative, have a proactive approach, excellent & diligent follow up skills required.

  • Willing to be flexible as work entails co-ordination across GSAA (Global South Asia) locations.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
