Job Description

Team Summary 

The Products and Solutions function is responsible for product management, product strategy, providing the thought leadership and long-term design for the development and growth of Visa’s products across the Asia Pacific (AP) region. The Innovation, Growth Products and Tech Platform Partnerships (IGT) team, within the Asia Pacific Product and Solutions team serves as the platform for the development of market-first products and solutions targeting cash-based and non-card payment flows. This team is also responsible for growing partnerships and unlock new revenue opportunities with scaled global and regional tech platform players. 

What an Innovation Operations and Business Planning Analyst does at Visa: 

This analyst plays a critical role driving strategic planning and operational efficiency initiatives for the IGT team.  

This position involves two main roles:  

Product Strategy and Center Operations: 

Supporting the development of Product Strategy for Visa’s Asia Pacific portfolio and managing the daily operations and roadmap for the innovation center, an interactive space showcasing client demonstrations of Visa's products.  

  • Product Strategy: Support senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that drive key strategic initiatives and plans in support of regional business growth and objectives.  
  • Innovation Center (IC) Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the innovation center, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for clients. 
  • IC Roadmap: Develop and maintain the roadmap for the innovation center, including scheduling demonstrations, coordinating with product teams, and updating displays. 
  • Innovation Demonstrations: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the innovation center reflects the latest Visa products and innovations.  
  • Analyze client feedback and usage data to continuously improve the innovation center's offerings. 

Business Planning and Operations: 

Analyzing and tracking business performance, developing strategic plans, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth and operational excellence.  

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze and interpret data to identify business trends, patterns, and track against targets. Create and present analytic deliverables to Visa leadership and other internal stakeholders to support business decision making. 
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop effective tracking mechanism, reporting and dashboards that monitors and progress team towards key objectives and key results (OKRs).  
  • Financial Analysis: Drive effective leadership and operations through management of key business processes, including coordination of financial models, forecasting and budgets. Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making. Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Operational Analysis: Analyze business processes and operations to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. 
  • Project Management: Support cross-functional projects to drive key product initiatives across several workstreams and simultaneous deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Visa organization to drive business planning activities. 

The position will be based in Singapore. It is a hybrid position: hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office and are expected to work from the office a minimum of 3 set days a week.

Playing a large part in the efforts to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations for business planning and design, this role is key in achieving strong business performance.  

Qualifications

What you will need The role requires an all-rounder across business operations and special projects, with strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently to drive projects and initiatives. Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industry related experience in strategy and business planning, project/program management, data analysis and forecasting, and enterprise risk management – ideally from a complex management organization or consulting firm 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-changing environment.
  • Extraordinary data analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into business insights and build complex Excel-based data models.
  • Detail oriented, proactive and results driven with excellent time management and priority-juggling skills to balance multiple priorities.
  • Teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence others.
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate across functions and through multiple disciplines and organizational groups.
  • Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills with experience building executive level communications and delivering large-group presentations.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for quality, analysis, and optimization.
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and achieve goals with minimal management oversight.
