Title and Summary

Manager Roles in Cyber Security Fusion Center (Express of Interest)

The AP Fusion Center will bring together Security and Intelligence professionals from various sectors, including Regulators, Central Banks, Law Enforcement, Disaster & Crisis Management Agencies, Financial Institutions, and other commercial organizations, to jointly monitor, prevent, detect, respond, and raise awareness of security threats, natural disasters, and other crises. It will aim toprotect people, organizations, and nations by driving public-private collaboration to build national and regional resiliency through Threat Intelligence Sharing and Operational CollaborationRegional Security OperationsRole Overview: Oversee regional security operations with a focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating all hazards risks, including physical, cyber, and operational threats.• Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance regional security posture.• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in security management, risk management, or a related field; extensive experience in security operations and risk management; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Additional Requirements: Relevant certifications, experience in managing all hazards risks, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and effectively communicate risk management strategies. Fluency in Japanese.Fusion Center CommunicationsRole Overview: Manage internal and external communications for the Fusion Center, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information.• Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies, manage media relations, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field; 6-8 years experience in corporate communications or public relations.• Additional Requirements: Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to manage multiple communication channels, and experience in crisis communication.• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build and maintain relationships with media and stakeholders.Intelligence AnalystRole Overview: Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence related to cybersecurity threats to support the Fusion Center's operations.• Key Responsibilities: Conduct threat analysis, produce intelligence reports, and collaborate with other cybersecurity teams to enhance threat detection and response.• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field; 6-8 years experience in threat intelligence or cybersecurity analysis.• Additional Requirements: Strong analytical and research skills, experience with threat intelligence tools and methodologies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and tools to gather and analyze data.Forensic AnalystRole Overview: Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify and analyze cybersecurity incidents and support incident response efforts.• Key Responsibilities: Perform forensic analysis of digital evidence, document findings, and provide expert testimony if required.• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field; 6-8 years experience in digital forensics and incident response.• Additional Requirements: Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, CCFP), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle sensitive information.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using forensic tools and software to analyze digital evidence.Threat HunterRole Overview: Proactively search for and identify cybersecurity threats within the organization's network to prevent potential attacks.• Key Responsibilities: Conduct threat hunting activities, analyze threat data, and develop strategies to mitigate identified threats.• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field; 6-8 years experience in threat hunting or cybersecurity analysis.• Additional Requirements: Strong analytical and research skills, experience with threat hunting tools and methodologies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using threat hunting platforms and tools to detect and analyze threats.Collaborations / PartnershipsRole Overview: Manage and coordinate collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Fusion Center's capabilities• Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain partnerships, coordinate joint initiatives, and ensure effective communication andcollaboration.• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field; 6-8 years experience in partnership management or stakeholder engagement.• Additional Requirements: Strong interpersonal and networking skills, ability to manage multiple partnerships, and experience in project management.• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, public speaking and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
