Actuarial Inforce Management is a critical function within the insurance industry, focused on optimizing the performance and sustainability of existing insurance policies. This discipline involves the continuous evaluation and management of inforce business, which refers to policies that are currently active and generating premiums. The objective is to ensure that these policies remain profitable, meet regulatory requirements, and align with the company's strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will employ advanced modeling techniques and data analytics to drive strategic decisions, ensuring the sustainability and profitability of our inforce business. Join us to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our insurance offerings.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the reporting and analysis of IFRS17 policyholder experience gains and losses, as well as forecasting and KPI tracking.

  • Contribute to comprehensive experience studies, including recommending assumptions, maintaining them, and analyzing their financial impact in areas such as reserves, new business value, and new business CSM. Additionally, provide insights that add value to the business.

  • Participate in in-force management projects to thoroughly examine experience drivers and propose recommendations for enhancing customer experience and in-force value for the company. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders on different in-force management initiatives.

  • Assist in regular experience monitoring, identifying and investigating variances in experience, and determining their root causes.

  • Engage in the development of experience monitoring tools in collaboration with the regional team.

  • Support any other assigned projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Good progress of actuarial exams

  • At least 5 years of working experience with good understanding of data, actuarial experience monitoring and insurance business know-how.

  • Knowledge of IFRS17 and local RBC framework have added advantage.

  • In-dept knowledge of insurance products and their earnings attributes.

  • Creative, thinking out of the box, meticulous to details, effective communications and planning are key elements for success.

  • Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, Words, Power Point) and QlikView (or any equivalent software)

  • Team player oriented as well as can follow up tasks independently.
