Are you an experienced professional with a passion for IT operations, Emergency Response management, Business Continuity, Outsourcing/ICT services, Operational Risk  and compliance? Nasdaq is now seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join us in Stockholm as the Head of ERT and Operational Compliance. The team consists of five coworkers, with specific expert functions in Emergency Response management and Outsourcing and ICT services management serving the Nasdaq European Market Services. The team also supports the European Market Operations in Business Continuity Planning, Operational Risk and Compliance 

Role and responsibilities:

  • Emergency Response Team: The team is comprised of managers and senior operations staff who assembles to resolve major incidents, Responsibilities includes manage the team, handle incident management, conduct training, and report incidents.
  • Business Continuity:
    • Update plans, train staff, and ensure contingency site readiness.
    • Disaster Recovery: Contribute to plans, conduct testing, and report findings.
    • Crisis Management: Develop procedures, maintain readiness, and participate in exercises.
  • Operational Risk: Collaborate with Risk Management, report incidents, and follow up on actions.
  • Outsourcing and ICT Services: Manage outsourcing, oversee IT operations, and support onboarding of new arrangements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to exchange regulations and maintain the DORA Registry of Information.
  • IT Operations and Governance: Liaise with internal IT providers, plan system capacity, and set requirements for capacity and stress-tests.

Who are we looking for:We are searching for a driven IT professional able to work independently in a high pace environment. You should;

  • Have minimum 10 years of experience leading and motivating a team of highly skilled staff.
  • Have previous knowledge and interaction with regulation in the financial industry and exposure to working with regulators and auditors.
  • Be comfortable with reporting and presenting to senior management and boards.
  • Thrive in cooperating with staff and functions on different levels within a global organization.
  • Be able to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects
