Named Account Executive – Retail (Groceries) – Sweden 

Salesforce is looking for a high-performing and experienced Account Executive to join our enterprise Retail team in Sweden, with a dedicated focus on the Grocery sector. In this role, you’ll partner with some of Sweden’s leading grocery retailers to support their digital transformation journey and drive innovation through the Salesforce Customer 360 platform. 

The grocery retail industry is undergoing rapid change – from shifting consumer behaviours to increasing pressure on margins and supply chains. At Salesforce, we’re uniquely positioned to help our customers meet these challenges and stay ahead of the curve. As a Named Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of this critical industry. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of named grocery retail accounts in Sweden.

  • Build and execute a territory plan focused on long-term value creation and sustainable growth.

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across IT, Operations, Digital, and the C-Suite.

  • Align Salesforce’s capabilities with the strategic goals of each customer, showing clear ROI and business impact.

  • Lead the full sales cycle – from early engagement and qualification through to close – collaborating with internal teams such as Solution Engineering, Marketing, Partner Alliances, and Professional Services.

  • Work closely with the broader Retail team to share best practices and co-create industry-specific solutions. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven success in enterprise SaaS sales, with 5+ years of experience closing large, complex deals.

  • Background or deep understanding of the grocery retail sector in Sweden – either through previous sales roles or direct industry experience.

  • Ability to navigate and influence large organizations, especially at the executive level.

  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

  • Strong communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English.

  • Willingness to travel across Sweden to meet with clients and attend key events.
