Job Title: TPM Assessments Operations Lead - TET (/f/m/x)

Purpose Intro

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. The Third-Party Management Process (“TPM Process”) is a cross functional risk type process for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and tracking risk associated with DB’s portfolio of Third Parties. The TPM Risk Assessments Team has global operational reach and is the primary point of contact for internal service relationship owners and external Third Parties seeking certification under the bank’s Third-Party Management process. The team examines evidence, identifies gaps and documents associated risks for subsequent remediation or acceptance and monitoring.The TPM Assessments Operations Lead for Termination, Exit and Transition (TET) actively assesses TET documentation and oversees day-to-day operations and ensures performance objectives are met. They will have expertise or deeper understanding of the dbTPRM process and play a key role in facilitating communication between Divisions and Risk Assessment Team, sharing knowledge and good practice. As a line manager they will be the primary contact point and first level of escalation for their team members, coordinate the workflow of the team’s reviews, guide the operational risk analysts to independently perform assessments of non-standard documentations, and act as escalation point for all involved stakeholders, so their communication skills need to be excellent. They lead and foster the team dynamic and focus on process and performance efficiency. The Operations Team Lead for TET proactively identifies, escalates, and takes steps to substantially mitigate risk issues within and outside of direct main business area and is responsible for building, fostering and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal and/or external) especially around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Responsibilities  

  • Risk Assessment: Ensure the complex processes of Operational Resiliency, specifically Transition, Exit and Termination (TET) planning controls are assessed, mitigated, and support the TPM alignment to regulations globally.
  • Management of Escalations & Information: Act as first point of contact for solving critical and complex issues and handling escalations regarding the assessment of TET Plans and Strategies and the associated risks deriving from it. Build and deliver a suite of regular metrics to articulate the risk assessment results for new and existing supplier engagements.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with all key stakeholders within the dbTPRM process to facilitate change and process improvement. Work with partners to support compliance with frameworks, policies and procedures and minimize risks. 
  • Governance & Leadership: As primary point of contact for all assessment aspects relating to TET from Third Parties and business side the candidate will define and maintain the respective documents for effective management of day-to-day operations. Manage the corresponding team including change management, recruitment etc. Constantly affirms and supports through their behavior the core values of the organization.
  • Ownership for own and team career management: Seek opportunities for continuous development of capabilities and improved performance contributions. Work with staff to define individual development plans and support execution of the plans.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and leadership skills; organizational skills, time management and a structured approach to work.

  • Advanced knowledge of English, both written and spoken/knowledge of German is a plus. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel,Power Point, Word).
