Team
The Chief Technology Office (CTO) drives the bank's technological transformation forward. CTO is the division exercising oversight and control of our technology business. It covers key areas of employee workspace, compute, storage, data bases, networks, and data centers globally, as well as Group
Architecture.
Group Architecture (GA) division plays a pivotal role in accelerating the delivery of a bank-wide simplified target architecture that enhances agility, increases technology speed-to-market, and reduces costs. To achieve these objectives, Group Architecture employs a range of activities that includes developing target architectures and roadmaps, implementing governance frameworks, deploying strategic tools, ensuring design discipline, and establishing policies and standards.
Role Description
The Data Architecture team with Deutsche Bank’s Chief Technology Office is responsible for delivering enterprise wide data architecture standards, tools and change initiatives, executing in-line with the Bank’s data strategy.
Your role will be part of a team defining steps to advance and accelerate progress towards our target Data Architecture. This includes foundational functional aspects required to enable the target architecture and real-world functional challenges that impede progress and/or benefit realization for moving to the target architecture. The role covers analysis/investigation (current state, problem statement, stakeholder inputs), defining and documenting the approach (management friendly overviews and more detailed requirements where appropriate) and agreeing the approach with stakeholders within the Chief Technology Office and in business aligned IT Domains. It also involves hands-on collaboration with other teams on critical deliveries/pilots to prove out approaches and to aid federation with IT Domain teams to allow us to incrementally progress and achieve tangible outcomes as we do so. This work would be carried out with close guidance from more senior Architects within Group Architecture.
The focus is on functional data architecture but this has a strong linkage into more technology focused work-streams linked to Public Cloud adoption and the opportunities that brings including emerging technologies/concepts such as Data Products and Data Meshes. This is a great opportunity to get involved into helping shape how we progress our journey in this critical area.
