DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

DB Global Technology develops cutting-edge software applications for the Deutsche Bank’s global operations and represents a platform for highly skilled software engineers. The team members specialize in Software Application Development, IT Architecture, Quality Assurance and Testing, Functional/Business Analysis and Project Management

The Private Bank Divisional Data Office is driving forward Data Management for Private Bank Division in accordance with Deutsche Bank Group Data Policy. In close collaboration between business and IT we assure compliance with Group Data Policy by assigning data roles, managing the documentation of data flows, aligning data requirements between consumers and producers of data, reporting data quality, and coordinating Private Banks data delivery through the group data hub.

We are looking for a person who has the drive and the ability to understand the business processes and technical side within the bank, who understands the requirements defined by regulatory compliance or top management and can perform in a very complex IT environment.

The Data Quality Issue Dispatcher provides governance and supports the Divisional / Regional Data Offices to manage Data Management Risk in Private Bank. He / she plays a proactive role in knowledge management to promote Data Quality methods and standards and ensures appropriate application of the Data Management processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Data Quality Management process supervision and coordination within Private Bank
  • Contribute with Data Quality guidance to Private Bank business processes and in line with group policies and frameworks
  • Provide regular KPI reporting through Data Quality Dashboard report, support reported KPI definition and measurement improvement and implement new Data Quality KPI in the DQ Dashboard
  • Monitor Data Quality Issues raised for Private Bank, keep track of DQ Issues analysis and remediation due dates, work together with data roles holders in order to achieve DQ Issues remediation
  • Help Private Bank data owners to optimize Data Quality within Private Bank
  • Identify and track Data Quality Controls in order to monitor Private Bank Data Quality; plan and track Data Quality Controls gap remediation and support implementation of new Data Quality Controls   
  • Support regulatory compliance regarding Data Management in Private Bank (e.g., GDPR, BCBS 239)
  • Support optimization of Data Management processes and data roles together the Group Chief Data Office team

Skills:

  • In depth understanding of how data and data quality impacts end-to-end processes across the bank, ideally in the retail sector
  • Hands on-experience with implementing Data Quality Controls and Data Quality Reporting
  • Experience with setting up Data Quality Control Landscapes and with processes requiring Data Quality Controls, e.g., internal control systems
  • Experience with interpreting and implementing data related regulations (e.g. GDPR, BCBS 239)
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
  • Open minded team player: making different people work together well across the world
  • Fluent in English (written/verbal)

Technical Competencies (Senior level):

  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Data Quality tools
  • Good understanding of reporting solutions
  • Ability to understand systems architecture
