Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

RFT is the technology partner to the Risk divisions of Credit Risk, Market Risk and Non-Financial Risk. NFRM manages the Bank’s non-financial risks, including Operational Risk and Reputational Risk. Our mission is to simplify processes, increase and active partnership and reduce administration, to deliver practical and sustainable risk management solutions. The support engineer is responsible for production maintenance of MSTAR application, for troubleshooting the issues reported by the users and for performing the root cause analysis on production incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the application under our portfolio quickly, perform root cause investigations for application production incidents by providing detailed analysis, deliver the necessary resolution together with feature team.
  • Process Service Requests for User Access approval and implementation.
  • Contribute to the implementation of process improvements based on the application capability and best practices.
  • Work with Release Management to ensure the integrity of the bug fixes or features implemented.
  • Keep track of production incidents, update the documentation and the knowledge articles.

Skills

  • Ability to analyze business requirements, defects, propose hot fixes and solve production incidents.
  • Previous support experience, with can do mind-set and attitude and hands-on approach.
  • Previous working experience with SQL (preferable Oracle) and MongoDB, web applications and micro-services (how to troubleshoot them, understand a Swagger definition).
  • Prior experience working with Agile software methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Previous experience with a ticket management tool.
  • A proactive person with strong organization skills, resolution management, proficient communication, and English language skills (written/verbal).
  • Computer Science or Software Engineering degree
