Mission

The Finance Business Partnering department provides ING Romania’s external and internal stakeholders insight in its financial performance and supports the business with reviews, benchmarks and advice. The department oversees all financial information of ING Romania (statutory, regulatory and management reporting) and consists of specialists in business advice, cost management and financial reporting.

You are a finance specialist with a thorough understanding of banking market, who can act as an independent business partner. You will take the lead in managing the cost for your area, communicate with relevant stakeholder, in performing financial analysis, follow the trends and translate the results into strategic / tactical choice that you will pitch to your business partner. You will support your business partner with insightful financial information and analysis during the planning and forecasting processes. You will be the contact person for any question related to financial performance and you will closely liaise with the Finance Reporting & Control and Change & Governance teams in Finance to ensure a proper translation of business reality in financial figures.

Your day-to-day

• Acting as finance business partner that actively influence day to day decisions, advising the responsible management in shaping the direction of the business.
• Managing budget and forecast on allocated cost area.
• Acting as “translator” between finance and business, anticipating the needs of the business
• Understands the past and the present, but it is future oriented and contributes to emergence of financial operating model.
• Maintains a healthy and long-lasting relationship with internal and external stakeholders with respect to delivered advice and insightful analysis.
• Collaborates with the Finance Control, Finance Reporting and Change & Governance in validating and aligning the different types of standard and ad-hoc management financial requests.

What you bring to the team

• You translate the financial information in the clear and actionable advice for your business partners.
• You take responsibility and initiative, you’re open and supportive towards others and you always act with a clear purpose in mind.
• You are relentlessly curious and pro-actively address customer requirements.
• You can prepare detailed financial analysis and explain and illustrate this in an intuitive way.
• University degree in Economics
• Management accounting/controlling/business strategy experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
