The Mission
As a Business Manager you will take on a wide range of responsibilities, serving as the “right hand” of the Management Team members of ING Hubs Romania in their daily responsibilities. You will operate on a strategic, tactical and operational level, handling everything from acting as an advisor, preparing management meetings, organizing offsites, drafting key communication and monitor certain aspects of the budgeting process. You will also be the point of contact for key partners and stakeholders.
Together with the Hubs MT members, you ensure targets are met. To this end you contribute to the strategic planning and steering, drive the business execution and financial control as well as domain-specific communication processes.
This position provides a broad insight across the global ING organization, Hubs, other entities and requires someone who combines good reasoning, curiosity and maturity with excellent judgment, discretion, and integrity.
The ideal candidate is a self-directed performer who helps orchestrate progress effectively in front of and behind the scenes. Strong communication skills are a must as well as being comfortable with ambiguity and high work pressure.
Your day-to-day
You will be in contact with many different colleagues from all the domains in ING Hubs Romania and outside to get things done. It is one of the best roles to get to know ING in all of its aspects, and will offer you plenty of development opportunities ranging from sharpening your organizational skills and stakeholder management capabilities, to developing into a strong advisor and communicator.
1. Advice and support Hubs MT members in the execution of the long- and short-term agenda
Support in accomplishing objectives;
Prepare presentation and briefings;
Advice and support based on experience, knowledge, and understanding;
Be the right hand for the Hubs MT members – you are the gatekeeper.
2. Proactively provide support
Gather, analyze and interpret business information in order to advise on financial, business, or people decisions;
Manage the Hubs MT agenda, minute the outcomes, and follow up on actions;
Build a trusted relationship with the management team members to support positive team dynamics and good collaboration.
3. Proactively liaise with and provide support to colleagues in and outside Hubs Ro
Build an extensive network with key stakeholders (others BM including);
Take on ad hoc projects as required;
Be the bridge to enable collaboration.
What you’ll bring to the team
Your professional experience clearly demonstrates you can operate in complex and dynamic environment and to bring content to the table.
You understand Technology, Data, Operations and the business.
Previous jobs could have been in Technology (strategy) consulting, CIO offices at large complex organizations or digital transformation.
