Job Title: Sourcing Governance Analyst

Purpose Intro

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Role Intro

Global Procurement performs work to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of contracted and procured services of a global portfolio, and as a division, sits under Infrastructure. The Infrastructure divisions perform control and service functions and, in particular, tasks relating to Group-wide, supra-divisional resource-planning, steering and control, as well as to risk, liquidity and capital management.

Within Global Procurement, you will be part of the enhanced function of Strategic Procurement Process, Performance and Governance (SP PPG). This role sits in the Governance pillar, through which we ensure processes are embedded consistently across spend categories, and we coordinate and enable the effective delivery of sourcing processes, including management and oversights of decision forums, specific activities, as well as adherence to procedures.

The Governance Analyst executes and/or enables the delivery of results and activities from the wide range of Strategic Procurement pre- and post-deal area and is either directly responsible for task execution or indirectly responsible via the efforts of other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Governance Lead and the wider Global and Strategic Procurement teams to manage interdependencies across the procurement lifecycle. Assist in the implementation of the sourcing governance framework, which includes support with the coordination of decision forums, implementation of controls, process effectiveness assessment.
  • Execute and enable adherence check on processes/process changes, data, and tools in line with the existing documentation and systems, as well as compliance requirements. Report on progress of adherence to process.
  • Develop a strong understanding of subject-matter/technical expertise on sourcing process and specific governance processes.
  • Demonstrate appropriate business etiquette, accountability, professionalism, and due care in all daily interactions (internal and external).
  • Collaborate across the SP PPG function to deliver consistent and reliable results and service.

Skills

  • Knowledge and proven track record of procurement processes execution (procurement, sourcing, transactional, awareness of Ariba systems, source-to-pay modules), process quality checks or risk management.
  • Ability to understand and translate process documentation into system data and map adherence to guidelines.
  • Analytical mind-set and ability to solve specific problems independently and as part of a team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders, across multiple corporate title levels and teams.
  • Ability to independently structure and prioritize workload, as well as deliver on role requirements in a timely manner.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
