Project & Change Execution Manager:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

The goal of TDI Engineering Platforms and Practices is to enable the enterprise governance for the development process within Deutsche Bank.

We will put an engineering mindset at the forefront of the decision-making process and will establish and embed the engineering best practice across the IT teams.

As a Project & Change Execution Manager, you will support the transformation of the SDLC procedures and tooling to modernize the Bank’s software development practice, reduce risk and improve efficiency (including establishing a common SDLC control plane)​. You will be the face off to internal clients and stakeholders, maintain vendor relationships,  aware of the direction of travel of the industry and will work with other Product Managers to drive a cohesive technical strategy for our end users.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy (research, evaluation & roadmap), provide clear product vision, that aligns with the division’s goals, and create/maintain the product roadmap and its execution in line with release processes and policies (Legal, Risk&Control, Regulatory, etc.)
  • Ongoing management and analysis of the product, definition and development of future releases, regular reporting on product KPI’s to ensure transparency, drive continuous improvements and optimize performance
  • Understand technology at a deep level and work across all stakeholders (internal & external) to drive the consensus on requirements, priorities, budgets and timelines in delivering solutions while keeping user engagement and influence the consumption behavior
  • Support product and engineering teams on any changes in scope to services consumed, remove blockers and train/mentor individuals to ensure the team is successful
  • Stay up to date on product enhancements, competing products, and the industry as a whole and work with a team of product managers, responsible for different technologies, to improve the Product Management Practice.

Skills

  • Practical understanding of project management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI) and Agile concepts, the software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management, including liaising and influencing strategic decision makers such as program sponsors, key business users, and vendors.
  • Proficient in analyzing data, identifying patterns, and creating valuable reports to inform decision-making. This includes skills in data visualization tools, and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and also to keep focus in the middle of distraction
  • Exceptional written and oral English skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and with executive levels.
