Position Summary

This role consists of implementing new legal processes and digital tools, improving legal processes and digital tools, documentation legal processes and conducting related communication & training. 

Key Result Areas

  • Manage and oversee the implementation of new legal and improved processes leveraging digital tools.
  • Analyse user & business requirements for process & legal tools improvements.
  • Develop user documentation & training materials on new Legal tools.
  • Document new legal processes.
  • Communicate on updates.
  • Advise business requestors on requirements of Legal function.
  • Advise internal clients on requirements for Corporate Rules and other corporate documents (e.g. Committee documents, Rules of Procedures).
  • Develop a ‘Legal Academy’ and oversee the repository of legal trainings.

Profile

  • Qualified Lawyer.
  • 5 years of post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer or within a corporate legal background (e.g. Company Secretary).
  • English proficiency

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain rationale clearly, and a strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet set deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams with affinity for and flexibility in using various digital tools and programs.
  • Strategic, analytical and process management thinking and implementation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and tactical problem solving; frame issues and create effective plans for execution.
