Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management, Acceptance Channel Enablement

The vision of Mastercard's Global Acceptance team is to make Mastercard the best way to pay everywhere. With our powerful suite of acceptance products, we are working on shaping the online and in-store payment experiences of the future. The meteoric rise of digital payments, coupled with fast-paced advancements in technology, has led to the emergence of various Channel Partner players in the payments value chain, such as Payment Facilitators, Payment Orchestrators, Gateways, PSPs, ISVs etc. These partners sit between a merchant and an acquirer and reshape how merchants accept payments with their innovative and modern software-based payment solutions. We are looking for a Manager to join our Channel Partner Enablement team. This role will focus on building programs, customer-facing products, value propositions, bundles, and thought leadership content to meet the needs of our partners and deepen engagement. Additionally, the Manager will equip regional and local sales teams with sales enablement materials and data-driven insights. This role will offer a blend of strategic, analytical and product opportunities. It is a global role that provides exciting prospects for career growth and shaping the future of payment industry. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, strategic thinker, possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and has a strong product management expertise. Knowledge of acquiring landscape and emerging verticals, like Real Estate, Utilities, SMEs, Healthcare/Fitness (non-hospital), Professional & Personal Services is a plus. Primary Responsibilities Include: • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop an product for Channel Partners, ensuring alignment with the broader Product organization and Regional/Market teams. Lead the creation and execution of the Go-To-Market plan and support the development of a best-in-class UI/UX. • Perform ongoing market scan and desk research on existing and emerging trends driven by Channel Partners/Enablers in the payment industry. • Develop landscape analysis, value propositions and Go-to-Market strategy for these players, including building business cases and sizing total addressable market for digital products. • Build programs and bundled solutions to accelerate product adoption and unlock emerging verticals catering to the needs of different types of Channel Partner /Enabler. • Create strong product narratives, sales enablement materials, best practices, toolkits across key initiatives, and also support market needs with actionable and relevant insights. • Continue to evolve thought leadership to keep Mastercard as the partner of choice including white papers, social media campaigns, etc. • Lead by example and build a strong culture of excellence, sense of urgency, customer centricity and winning with decency ALL ABOUT YOU • 5-8 years prior related work experience in product management discipline, e.g. developing Go-to-Market plans, building business cases, creating value propositions & sales enablement materials. • Background in building products and developing thought leadership materials • Ready to take ownership and make decisions to drive success for our partners • Motivated by working in a flat hierarchy and making broad contributions • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and coordinate effectively with business partners globally, across different cultures and geographies • Flexible and adaptable to changes • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across cultures and geographies Nice to have: • Bachelor’s degree required; • Experience of living and studying abroad strongly preferred • Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success • Demonstrated experience in building & launching new products/programs/bundles.
