About the position:
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) is responsible for setting the vision for technology products and defining the product roadmap to fulfill that vision. The TPM works cross-functionally with teams responsible for selling, building, and supporting the product to ensure it meets current and future customer needs while being delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. By researching and understanding technology trends, the TPM leverages emerging technologies to accelerate product development and differentiate the product from competitors. Additionally, the TPM ensures that the product can meet the needs of multiple customers while remaining extensible and scalable to support future business opportunities in a cost-effective manner.
Your responsibilities will look like:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal and external SMEs, to align business objectives, user needs, and product vision with strategic goals.
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and prioritization of user stories, features, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business value and stakeholder input.
- Partner closely with development teams to provide guidance, address challenges, and ensure requirements are effectively translated into deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving requirement ambiguities, facilitating discussions, and ensuring smooth communication among all parties.
- Drive effective collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional groups to align expectations and deliver outcomes.
- Lead and actively contribute to sprint planning, product backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies to maintain a well-defined, prioritized, and actionable product backlog.
- Review and provide strategic feedback on deliverables to ensure they meet business goals, user needs, and quality standards.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered features meet acceptance criteria and deliver intended value.
- Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog based on evolving business needs, customer feedback, and market trends.
What we expect from you:
Education Required:
- A degree in Software Engineering or a related field;
- Over 6 years of experience in technical product management.
- Proven success in collaborating with engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Strong understanding of technical systems and architectures.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and presenting data insights to non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
- Experience with applications similar to Excel, or other data management and analysis tools, is a plus.
It would be excellent if you have:
- Experience with SQL;
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma;
- Scrum methodology certification;
